SONAK COMPANY LIMITED was found in Dar-Es-Salaam in August the year 2019 to deal with fabrication and implementation of electronic projects in order to provide solutions to communities facing different problems.

Recently SONAK Company Limited has fabricated SonaTap Pre-Paid Water Meter, which is effective both in urban and rural areas, it can be used by all water service providers including government through water authorities and private organizations and individuals who are dealing with the business of providing water services to the community.

Our Journey/Achievement 2019-2021

Our Journey began on 14th of August 2019, that is when we began the fabrication of our first SONATAP prepaid water meter(The Prototype), luckily we were given a government water project in Dodoma region at Nkulabi village where our first prototype is situated.

Installation of the prototype followed till the end of the year 2019 and then it begun to work.

The year 2020 was more of a re-design and development year especially the first half of the year as we were modifying the prototype from the observed setbacks. From the second half of the year 2020 we were able to acquire our first buying customer who also gave us the chance to exploit the full performance of SONATAP System on a different environment.
From then to the end of the year 2020 we were able to sell five(5) more meters as we were pleased with its performance.

Recovery And Resilience challenge

The Company came out victorious in the Recovery and Resilience Challenge which was hosted by the Seedstar Community and funded by HDIF, UNDP and Netherland Embassy.
With the funds received from the competition we were able to invade the market and set some strategies which are the main reason for our rapid spread in a short period of time. That is this gave us the chance to install more than 35 more SonaTap Prepaid Meters and more than 30 being on different government water authorities
